Do I need an API key?

Yes, for both the REST API and MCP server—the same key for both. It is self-service and instant: you receive a link to view your key within seconds by providing just an email address, with no manual approval required. The free plan does not require payment; paid plans increase limits for that same key.

How much does it cost?

The Free plan is free with 30 requests per minute and 300,000 per month. Paid plans are Starter at €9/month, Pro at €49/month, and Business at €249/month, all before tax. Commercial use is allowed on every plan within its limits.

Can I use the API commercially?

Yes, on every plan including the free plan, within that plan's limits. For volume beyond the free limits you need a paid plan starting at €9/month. You can also use the key in apps and devices you sell, with requests from all devices counting together toward the plan limits.

What is MLAT and why does it matter?

Multilateration (MLAT) is a triangulation technique that tracks aircraft without ADS-B transponders by measuring the time difference of radio signals arriving at multiple receivers. It enables tracking of military aircraft, helicopters and light aircraft, and reduces surveillance blind spots useful for safety in areas with limited radar coverage.

How do payment and cancellation work?

Paid plans are monthly subscriptions charged by card or wallet, with your country's tax added at checkout. You can change plan or cancel anytime from links in your receipt; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period and your key reverts to the free plan.
