A native Mac focus and Pomodoro timer where every completed session plants a tree in a desktop forest that stays on your Mac.
What it is
WELTEN is a focus timer for macOS that visualizes your productivity by growing a digital forest behind your desktop icons. Each completed focus session plants a tree that persists in your Waldlichtung forest. You can customize sessions from 1 to 180 minutes, create named routines with breaks and rounds, and use it as a Pomodoro timer. The app offers background sound options including forest ambience, white, pink, or brown noise, plus your own music from Spotify or YouTube. Your forest stays on your Mac with no account required, your wallpaper remains unchanged, and the app supports multiple displays. It runs on Apple Silicon Macs with macOS 14 or later.
