What it is
Quotchi is a Mac menu bar app that displays Claude Code, Codex and optional Gemini usage limits, reset times and which tool has remaining capacity. It provides gentle alerts when approaching limits and shows when sessions reset. The app features a visual "sloth" indicator showing three usage states: room to build (under 80%), getting close (80%+ with countdown), and limit reached (with reset timing). Pro includes desktop companion display, local history tracking, multi-account support and deeper usage statistics. All data stays local on your Mac with no account required and prompts never collected.

- No. Quotchi never reads what you send your tools: no prompts, no transcripts. There is no Quotchi account; it uses the sign-in your tools already have. Optional history and stats stay on your Mac.
- Is Pro a subscription?
- No. Pro is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. You pay once for a lifetime license on two Macs, with all future Pro updates included.
- How do I get started?
- Download Quotchi for your Apple silicon Mac (M1 or later) running macOS 14 or later, open it and choose your tools. If a tool needs setup, the welcome screen fixes it right there, like signing in to Claude Code.
- Can I get a refund?
- Yes. Email hey@quotchi.com within seven days of purchase and you will receive a refund.
- Does checking my limits use up my Claude or Codex allowance?
- No. Quotchi asks Claude Code and Codex for their usage report through a control channel. It never sends a prompt or starts a model turn, so a check does not count against your limits.
