GoBuildWP is a self-hosted WordPress MCP plugin that turns any WordPress site into its own Model Context Protocol server. It lets you connect AI clients like ChatGPT, Claude or Codex directly to WordPress to build and edit pages, manage WooCommerce stores, improve SEO across your site, and apply speed optimizations—all through natural language conversation.

The Free version provides core WordPress abilities, read-only safety profiles, change tracking and undo for supported edits, and works with all major MCP clients. Pro adds advanced integrations for page builders like Elementor, Bricks, Divi and others, plus deeper WooCommerce, LMS and membership operations, persistent agent memory, and a human approval queue for sensitive changes.

GoBuildWP Cloud is an optional hosted gateway that lets one AI app reach multiple sites through a single connection. Every site keeps its own safety rules and permissions. The plugin is self-hosted on your site with no relay through GoBuildWP's servers unless you choose Cloud.

You can start with one brief and have a connected AI client work through pages, navigation, templates, content and supported forms. A complete build involves multiple tool calls and review. The result depends on your brief, AI model, installed plugins and their supported operations. You supply hosting, business facts, assets and any required licences, then review the site before launch.

Does GoBuildWP work with my existing website and page builder?

Yes. Free includes core WordPress block workflows and complete Elementor element-tree writing. Pro adds higher-level Elementor composition and integrations for builders including Bricks, Divi, Oxygen, Breakdance, Beaver Builder, Etch and WPBakery. Can I build and manage a WooCommerce store with AI?

Yes. Free reads store data and edits one product's basic fields. Pro adds product creation, variations, categories, bulk updates, coupons and supported order, shipping and tax operations. Store design uses your supported builder and payment setup still needs your review.

Can I create an LMS or membership website?

With Pro and Tutor LMS, your AI can create courses, topics, lessons, quizzes and questions. Pro also supports Paid Memberships Pro levels, discount codes and member-access operations. The website's pages are built through your supported editor or builder.

How does GoBuildWP handle my site data and privacy?

GoBuildWP is self-hosted on your site. Direct connections have no relay, so tool calls never pass through GoBuildWP's servers unless you choose the optional Cloud gateway. Abilities are tied to your hostname and switched off if your site moves to a new domain.
