Compass is a voice-first notebook built specifically for startup founders. Users capture scattered thoughts throughout their day—product decisions, investor conversations, hiring plans, competitive moves—by speaking or typing. The app's AI automatically organizes each note and detects recurring patterns across weeks of entries, surfacing insights and connections the founder might otherwise miss.
Unlike general note-taking apps, Compass remembers key people mentioned across conversations, maintains their relationships and context, and generates a weekly review showing what moved and what stalled. The app can record in-person meetings with multiple speakers, transcribing and separating each person's words. Any note can be turned into a draft post for X or LinkedIn in one tap, helping founders share their journey and thinking in public.
Compass runs on iPhone only (iOS 17 or later) and encrypts notes at rest with AES-256-GCM. Notes can be exported anytime as Markdown. The app is currently in early access and starts with a 14-day free trial.
