What it is

coisland.app, as visitors see it

CoIsland is a Mac app for engineers that consolidates alerts and notifications from 35+ tools into a single view in your Mac's notch. It monitors code, deployments, data systems, tickets, on-call platforms and communications, showing only what fired and needs action. The app works by running monitors on custom queries in your tools, on schedules you set, and displays alerts in the notch with options to acknowledge them or hand them to AI agents like Claude Code, Codex or Cortex Code for automated responses.

The app keeps all credentials in macOS Keychain and talks directly to your tools from your Mac, with no CoIsland server. It supports 35+ connectors including GitHub, Vercel, Jira, Linear, Snowflake, Databricks, Sentry, PagerDuty, Datadog and others. CoIsland runs only on Macs with Apple Silicon (M1 or later) on macOS 14 or later, and costs $19.99 paid once for up to 2 Macs with a year of updates, currently at an early bird price of $5.99 until October 25.

Questions from the bench

Which tools does CoIsland connect to?
35+ tools today, including Snowflake, Databricks, dbt, GitHub, Vercel, GitLab, Cloudflare, Render, Jira, Linear, Confluence, Asana, ClickUp, Todoist, Notion, Shortcut, Airtable, Reminders, Sentry, PagerDuty, Datadog, New Relic, Langfuse, PostHog, Supabase, PostgreSQL, MySQL, ClickHouse, Gmail, Calendar, Apple Mail, HTTP/JSON, RSS/Atom, status pages, shell commands and Stripe. More connectors are on the way.
Can an AI agent act on an alert?
Yes. You can hand an alert to Claude Code, Codex or Cortex Code. The agent opens in a terminal under the alert with the full alert as its first message. Claude Code and Codex run in auto mode, doing what is safe and asking you for the rest, while Cortex Code asks before it acts. No agent closes an alert; you retain final control.
Does my data go through a CoIsland server?
No. There is no CoIsland server. The app talks to your tools directly from your Mac, and when you hand an alert to an agent, that agent's own service receives it directly.
What are the system requirements for CoIsland?
A Mac with Apple Silicon (M1 or later) running macOS 14 or later. It does not run on Intel Macs.
How much does CoIsland cost?
$5.99 until October 25 (early bird price), then $19.99 paid once for up to 2 Macs with a year of updates. Each subsequent year of updates costs $5.99. There is no subscription, and you have 30 days to get a refund for any reason.
