Clixad is a free AI coding agent for your terminal that analyzes your code and proposes changes. The tool reads and searches your files, edits them, and runs commands like test suites, but nothing is written until you approve the diff.

Five AI models are free every day up to 60,000 credits per account: GPT-5 Nano, Gemini 2.5 Flash-Lite, Claude Haiku 5.5, DeepSeek V4 Flash, and Gemini 3.5 Flash-Lite. You sign in with GitHub—no API key needed—and all 13 models from five vendors sit on one shared balance.

You start with 25,000 credits on signup. When you hit the daily free limit or want premium models like Claude Opus 5.5 and GPT-6 Sol, you can earn more credits by completing offers from advertisers, daily streaks, rating answers, or inviting others. Buying credits is optional.

The service is ad-supported. While the agent works, ads appear in your terminal in up to three marked places. You can turn them all off with an environment variable. Your code and prompts are never sent to advertisers.

Is Clixad free to use?
Yes. There is no subscription, no API key, and no card required. Five models are free every day up to a daily limit, and you get 25,000 credits when you sign up. You can top up by completing offers on the offerwall or earn smaller grants through daily streaks, rating answers, and inviting others. Buying credits is optional.
Do I need an API key?
No. You sign in with GitHub and every model call goes through Clixad's gateway, which holds the provider keys. You never need to open an account with OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, or other providers, and all models sit on one shared balance.
Is there a monthly subscription?
No. Nothing renews and there is nothing to cancel. Credits you earn or buy do not expire, and a credit pack is a one-time purchase. A month you do not code costs nothing.
Do I have to watch ads?
Only when you want more credits and you choose which offer. Ads can appear in your terminal in up to three marked places while the agent runs, but you can switch them all off. Being screened out of an offer pays nothing or a small bonus.
Can advertisers see my code?
No. Your code, prompts, and project name are never sent to advertisers. Offers open in a separate browser page. Your machine fetches ads from the ad network, so they see your IP address like any website, but nothing you typed is shared.
