Every listing starts in one main category at no cost. That gets you in front of makers browsing there. But if your project fits elsewhere too, you can add it.
How extra categories work
You can pick up to 3 additional categories. Each one costs $5. Buy them when you submit your listing—just head to the plan step—or add them later from /account/listings (Categories).
Show up straight away
Once you've paid, choose which categories you want. Your listing appears in all of them immediately. No waiting around. Makers browsing those sections will see your work right then.
It's a clean way to reach the right people without cluttering your listing. You only pay for the extra reach you actually want.

- Can I add categories after I launch?
- Yes. Go to /account/listings, find your project, and choose Categories to add more for $5 each.
