What it is

MyToolsBench is a free collection of browser-based image tools for converting, compressing, resizing and editing images. All processing happens inside your browser using the Canvas API, so files never leave your device or get uploaded to a server. The image converter supports JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, GIF, BMP, TIFF, ICO, HEIC and PDF formats with per-file quality control and resizing options. Additional tools include an image compressor for hitting exact file size targets, a resizer with ready-made presets for social media platforms and common dimensions, a cropper with circle crop options, and utilities for removing backgrounds, adding watermarks, rotating images, extracting EXIF data and creating Instagram grids. Several tools are available in multiple languages including Spanish, French, Portuguese, Russian, Japanese, Chinese, Indonesian and Vietnamese.

Are my images uploaded to a server?

No. Conversion happens entirely inside your browser using the Canvas API. Nothing is transmitted, stored or logged to a server. You can even disconnect from the internet after the page loads and the tool will continue to work.

Is there a file size or file count limit?

No. Most converters cap files at 1 GB or 20 files because they process on servers. Since MyToolsBench processes everything in your browser with no server, there is no limit. Very large images may take longer on slower devices.

Which output format should I choose?

WebP is best for the web, typically 25-35% smaller than JPG at matching quality with support in modern browsers. AVIF is even smaller. JPG offers the most universal compatibility. PNG is best for images needing transparency and flat graphics.

What happens to transparency when converting to JPG?

JPG cannot store transparent pixels, so transparent areas must be filled with a solid colour. MyToolsBench fills with white, which is what most people expect. To keep transparency, convert to PNG, WebP or AVIF instead.

What size should my images be for social media?

Every platform wants different pixels.
