WebKnox is an API that transforms questions asked in chat applications, assistants and displays into rich, sourced answer cards. It supports multiple card types including weather, nutrition, recipes, and comparisons, with data properly attributed to its sources.
The API integrates with the Vercel AI SDK and works with any model that can call tools. It prioritizes user privacy by keeping no conversation memory, never storing message text, and running its infrastructure in Germany.
Only matched answers consume tokens; unmatched questions are free. The platform maintains stable card schemas that only grow, ensuring code written today won't break tomorrow.

- What happens when I change plans?
- An upgrade takes effect immediately and you pay the difference for the rest of the month. A downgrade starts with your next billing period, and your pack tokens are never lost.
- Do unused daily tokens roll over?
- No, the daily quota resets at midnight UTC. However, pack tokens carry over for 12 months.
- Can I use the free plan in a commercial product?
- The free plan is for personal and non-commercial projects only, and its cards carry a small WebKnox credit. Starter is the cheapest commercial plan.
- Does WebKnox store user questions?
- No. WebKnox never stores message text. For billing and support, it logs the time, card type, result and tokens of each request, then deletes those entries after 90 days.
- How do I pay?
- Payment is by card through Stripe, with a VAT invoice for every payment. Scale plans can also pay by bank transfer.
