Waffy is an autonomous browser agent that runs entirely in your browser. It offers two main modes: chat mode for asking questions about pages and getting summaries, and automate mode for handling web tasks by clicking, typing, scrolling and moving between tabs. Users connect their own AI models from providers like OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, xAI, Groq or OpenRouter, keeping API keys secure in the browser. The extension operates in a continuous workflow of planning, execution, validation and output, analyzing requests and pages, performing actions with live screen vision, verifying results, and delivering summaries of completed tasks. Licensed under Apache 2.0, the source code is open for review and contribution.
