ToolsNow

What it is

ToolsNow is an independently maintained collection of calculators, converters and tools for everyday tasks. The platform includes 113 tools across 11 categories: text utilities, developer tools, money calculators, math converters, time calculations, image editing, PDF and file tools, health estimates, cooking converters, random generators and creative effects.

All processing happens in your browser. Files and pasted text are processed locally without being uploaded to ToolsNow. No account is needed to access any tool, and advertising is disabled on the site.

Tools are accompanied by instructions, worked examples and guides that explain how they work, their assumptions and their limits. The project is maintained by an independent developer and provides general explanations rather than individual professional advice.

Questions from the bench

How does local processing work?

Files and pasted text are processed in your browser. Some tools download extra software first. The currency converter fetches exchange rates, but the conversion itself happens on your device. Your files are not uploaded to ToolsNow.

Do I need an account to use the tools?

No. You can open any tool without signing up or choosing a paid plan. There are no ToolsNow user accounts.

Is there advertising on ToolsNow?

No. The tools are free to use and advertising is currently disabled. The site does not load AdSense or display ad slots.

What are the privacy practices for tool inputs?

Your files and calculation inputs stay on your device and are not sent to ToolsNow. The currency converter requests exchange rates from an external service, but the amount you enter is not included in that request. No personal data is added to analytics events.

Are the tools and guides checked for accuracy?

Yes. Worked examples provide cases to compare with your own results. Calculations have automated checks. Guides include notes on sources, assumptions and limits. Corrections can be reported using the contact page.
