What it is

ProductPulse is a free Chrome extension designed for dropshippers, Shopify sellers, and product researchers. It displays three key metrics on product pages: listing age, total reviews and rating, and order volume. These signals help users identify whether a product is dead or saturated before investing in paid advertising.

The extension works by reading data already published on product pages. For AliExpress, it shows the listing creation date and sold count. For Shopify, it retrieves the product creation date from the store's public data and shows sales numbers when the store displays them.

ProductPulse offers a free tier with basic metrics and a Pro subscription for €4.99 per month or €19 one-time. Pro users get access to the Order Velocity chart, which tracks how a product's order and review counts change over up to 60 days based on your own visits.

How do I check if a product is saturated?

No single number proves saturation. Useful signals are listing age, order count, review count, and whether those numbers are still growing. ProductPulse shows age, reviews and orders on the product page, and Pro's Order Velocity chart tracks growth as you revisit a product.

Where does the data come from?

Each number comes from data the page or store already publishes. For AliExpress, ProductPulse uses the listing creation date and sold count. For Shopify, it uses the product's created_at date and review data from store widgets. You can hover over the tiles in the extension to see the exact data source.

How does the Order Velocity chart work?

It's built from your own visits. Each time you open a product page, ProductPulse saves that day's order and review counts in your browser. Days without a visit are estimates. When AliExpress caps orders at 10,000+, orders above the cap are estimated from review growth.

Is it free?

Listing age, total reviews and orders are free. The Order Velocity chart is part of Pro, which costs €4.99 per month or €19 one-time.

Does ProductPulse need an account?

The free features need no account. The extension reads the product page in your browser and stores Order Velocity history locally. Pro payments go through ExtensionPay and Stripe.
