Each calculator answers a focused question without requiring an account or storing data in a controlled database. The site provides plain-language guides explaining the methods and their limits, with all calculations tied to published sources. Results are educational references only, not diagnoses, treatment advice, or formal medical records.

Questions from the bench

What is Pregnancy Metrics?

Pregnancy Metrics is an independently developed educational site for pregnancy and preconception questions. It offers seven browser-based calculators that provide results from information you enter, along with plain-language guides explaining the methods and their limits.

Is Pregnancy Metrics a medical service or affiliated with hospitals?

No. Pregnancy Metrics is not a clinic, medical provider, diagnostic service, or official calculator of a professional organization. It is not operated by, affiliated with, sponsored by, or approved by a clinic, hospital, ACOG, ASRM, or a medical board.

How is my privacy protected when using the calculators?

Calculations run in your browser without an account or project-controlled database. The optional weight-gain tracker stores data on the device only after explicit opt-in. Routine hosting requests and support email remain separate data flows as explained in the Privacy Policy.

How are the calculator methods checked?

Calculator methods and factual explanations are tied to published sources relevant to the claim. Public explanations are checked against the code that produces results, with content contracts, browser tests, and release checks documented in the Methodology.
