PDFGenie is a web application that converts bank statement PDFs into clean Excel and CSV files. Users upload a statement exactly as their bank provides it, and PDFGenie automatically extracts every transaction, verifies it against the running balance, and delivers a properly formatted spreadsheet with real dates and numbers.

The service works with statements from any bank and requires no templates or column mapping. Files are deleted automatically after 24 hours (or 72 hours if conversion fails), and users can delete them instantly. Password-protected PDFs are unlocked in memory with passwords never stored. Conversion runs on the company's own servers without using AI services, and statements are never used to train AI models.

PDFGenie offers flexible pricing: monthly subscription plans starting at $15 for freelancers and personal use, or one-off page credits that never expire. All users get 1 free document per day without an account.

What counts as a page?
One page of the uploaded PDF. A 6-page statement uses 6 pages, even if only some pages contain transactions.
What does the warning sign next to a row mean?
PDFGenie checks every transaction against the running balance printed on the statement. A warning means the numbers do not add up for that row, usually due to a misread amount or a row that belongs to a different date.
Can I convert credit card statements?
Yes. Credit card statements are tables of transactions too, and reconciliation works when the statement prints balances.
Do unused pages roll over?
No. Paid credits refresh each month on your billing anniversary.
How long do you keep my files?
Files are kept for 24 hours after a successful conversion, or 72 hours if the conversion failed so the team can fix the converter. You can delete them immediately by clicking Delete now on the result page.
