Macswarm provides hosted macOS virtual machines called Pods where Claude Code and Codex coding agents can build iOS apps and run UI tests. Each Pod includes the latest Xcode, pre-booted iOS Simulators, and XcodeBuildMCP, with two to three agents per standard Pod. Sessions are metered per second and Pods are destroyed ten minutes after use ends.

The service runs on Apple silicon Mac minis in the Netherlands or US, chosen per environment. Billing is per Pod-hour with no per-agent fees. Free includes 3 Pod-hours once, Pro costs $99/month for 300 Pod-hours, Team is $399/month for 1,500 Pod-hours, and Enterprise starts from $3,000/month with dedicated Macs.

Questions from the bench

Do I need my own Claude or OpenAI subscription?
Yes. Macswarm supplies the Macs, and Anthropic or OpenAI bills model usage to your account. Macswarm never resells tokens.
How many agents can I run per Pod?
As many as you like per Pod. Macswarm guarantees 2 to 3 active agents per standard Pod with Simulators; beyond that, builds queue.
Is my code isolated?
Every Pod starts as a fresh clone of a golden image, is never reused across customers, and is destroyed ten minutes after its last session ends.
Which Claude and Codex plans work?
Claude self-hosted environments require a Claude Team or Enterprise organization in public beta. Pro and Max users can start a Pod on the Free or Pro plan and sign in to Claude Code inside it with their own account. Codex connects through the OpenAI Agents API.
What happens when free hours run out?
Sessions stop and the dashboard asks you to pick a plan. Nothing is charged until you do.
