ImageToBlock is a browser-based application designed specifically for Minecraft builders and pixel artists to convert images into in-game block art. Users upload images and select grid dimensions from 16x16 to 128x128 blocks, with options to refine the output using stray pixel pruning and color balance adjustments. The tool generates coordinate-marked blueprints for construction and automatically calculates exact material shopping lists showing stack counts and inventory requirements.
The application supports Minecraft 1.20 and 1.21 block textures including wool, concrete, terracotta, and other obtainable blocks. It features CIELAB color matching for accurate color reproduction and includes a Survival Safe mode that restricts blocks to readily available materials. All processing happens client-side in the user's browser with no data uploaded to remote servers.
