- FontSwap runs in your browser and needs no account. It never sends the pages you visit, their addresses or the fonts you find anywhere. From version 0.2.0 it sends anonymous usage counts which you can turn off in FontSwap Options.
- How accurate is the font detection?
- FontSwap reads the computed font-family from the DOM and resolves it against loaded web fonts. Accuracy is very high for web fonts loaded via CSS. System font fallbacks are identified by their generic family name.
- Can I use FontSwap on any website?
- Yes. FontSwap works on any website that loads in Chrome, including sites behind authentication. It reads fonts from the rendered page, so it works regardless of how the site is built.
