How does File Link AI handle my data differently from Gmail's built-in AI?

File Link AI only reads the email thread you have open and only activates when you explicitly click "Ask AI", unlike Gmail's background AI that scans your entire inbox. No data is stored on File Link AI's servers, and all files are saved directly to your own Google Drive.

Is File Link AI safe to use with confidential project information?

Yes. File Link AI has passed Google's full OAuth verification process and is publicly listed on the Google Workspace Marketplace. AI summaries send only filenames to Anthropic (never file contents), and AI file chat sends file contents only when you explicitly click "Ask AI". Data is never used to train AI models.

Can I remove File Link AI's access to my Gmail?

Yes, you can revoke File Link AI's access anytime via myaccount.google.com/permissions. Uninstalling immediately revokes all permissions.
