- No. Fabricate is designed for people who do not write code. You describe the app in plain words, Fabricate builds it, and you change it by asking for changes in a chat. On paid Pro and Max plans you can also download the code.
- Is it a real app or just a design?
- Fabricate builds real, working web apps rather than mockups or static designs. Apps can give users their own sign-in and store data in a database. Every app is opened in a real browser before publishing, and one that crashes or renders a blank page is blocked from going live.
- What happens when my free credits run out?
- Nothing built on Fabricate is lost when credits run out. Apps and their data stay in the account. The Free plan includes 60 credits a month that refill every month and do not roll over. To keep building before the refill, upgrade to Pro, which includes 350 credits a month for $25.
- Who owns what I build?
- You own the applications and code Fabricate generates for you, as well as the prompts and content you submit. Fabricate does not claim ownership of generated output. Every new app starts private on every plan, and on Pro and Max plans a published app can be kept private too.
- Can I use my own domain?
- Yes, on Fabricate's paid Pro and Max plans. Pro connects up to 5 domains and Max connects up to 20 domains. On the Free plan you can build and preview apps; putting one online requires a paid plan.
