A browser extension that captures your web app's UI as you click through it, turning it into an interactive, editable demo with no video required.

What it is

demovine.com, as visitors see it

DemoVine is a browser extension that captures a web app's actual UI (DOM snapshots) as users click through it, turning captured screens into interactive demos. The tool allows creators to edit captured screens, mask sensitive data, arrange scenes in a flow graph with clickable hotspots, and share a single live link that updates immediately for all viewers.

Scenes can be created from live UI captures, screenshots, uploaded images, and screen recordings, which can be combined in a single demo. Finished demos can be exported as MP4, WebM, or GIF video with optional AI voiceover. Viewers click through the demo in the browser without installing anything.

Built for solo developers and freelancers, DemoVine is designed to help ship demos quickly without managing video files. It supports use cases including showing new features to clients, answering how-to questions with guided explainers, and embedding clickable demos in documentation.

Questions from the bench

How long does it take to create a demo?
The whole loop of recording, refining, and sharing fits inside your normal workflow. Your first demo takes about a minute.
Do I need to re-record to make changes to my demo?
No. You can change anything without re-recording, including fixing wording in the editor, masking a username, or redacting sensitive data.
Do viewers need to install anything to watch a demo?
No. Viewers click through the demo in the browser without installing anything.
Can I control who sees my demo?
Yes. Demos have an unguessable link by default. You can also add a password, require an email, or open it fully public per demo.
Do my edits show up for viewers who already have the link?
Yes. One link is always current, so when you make edits, they show up for everyone immediately.
