Bugwalk is an AI debug engineer that analyzes customer-reported failures, identifies the exact line of code that broke, and automatically opens a pull request

What it is

Screenshot of the Bugwalk homepage
bugwalk.app, as visitors see it

Bugwalk helps developers debug and fix production failures faster. When a customer reports that something broke, Bugwalk shows the customer's full visit (what they clicked, what the app did, and the error), automatically finds the exact line of code that failed, and opens a pull request with a fix ready for your review.

The service works with a wide range of modern frameworks including React, Next.js, Vue, Nuxt, SvelteKit, Angular, Express, NestJS, Fastify, FastAPI, Django, and Go, as well as Java, .NET, Ruby and PHP through OpenTelemetry. Setup typically takes just minutes using the CLI wizard.

Bugwalk eliminates the need to switch between multiple tools and logs when debugging. Everything about one failure—the customer's actions, the requests made, and the error—sits on a single page. All code changes require explicit review and approval before merging, with nothing shipped automatically.

What it is built with

  • Session replay of customer visits with all clicks, requests and errors on one page
  • Automatic root cause analysis identifying the exact line of code that failed
  • Automatic pull request generation with proposed fixes ready for review
  • Support for React, Next.js, Vue, Nuxt, SvelteKit, Angular, Express, NestJS, Fastify, FastAPI, Django, Go and more
  • OpenTelemetry integration for Java, .NET, Ruby and PHP
  • Grouping of the same bug across multiple users with affected user count
  • Privacy protection removing passwords, card numbers and API keys before sending
  • Investigation reports with confidence levels and evidence citations
  • Live demo with real shop and real failures without account required

Questions from the bench

What is Bugwalk?
Bugwalk is an AI debug engineer. When a customer reports something broke, it shows their full visit (what they clicked, what your app did, and the error), finds the exact line of code that failed, and opens a pull request with a fix for you to review.
Can it change my code without me knowing?
No. Every fix arrives as a pull request on its own new branch. Your main branch only changes when you merge that pull request. Bugwalk does not merge, comment, or write to your database.
What does Bugwalk read from my code?
Bugwalk reads the visit that failed and the repositories you chose, at the commit that was live when it failed. Passwords, card numbers and keys are removed inside your app before anything is sent.
What happens if Bugwalk cannot fix the bug?
You still get the investigation showing who hit it, what they did, where it failed and why. A pull request is opened only when the report qualifies, and a run that fails before finishing is not charged.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Pro and Team start with a 3-day trial. A card is required so the plan continues without a gap, and you are not charged until the trial ends. Cancel before day 4 and you pay nothing.
