Can you see my documents?
No. There is no server, no account, and no telemetry. The engine that opens files has no network entitlement, enforced by macOS at the signature level.
How do I know redaction really destroys the text?
Three ways: the verifier re-opens every export and proves strings are absent before the file is written; the output is byte-reproducible so third parties can re-run the marks and confirm; and the Inspector shows what other tools left behind in a redacted file.
Is it a subscription?
No. The $29 purchase is a lifetime license covering up to three Macs. Tools used on privileged documents should not stop working when a card expires.
Which Macs does it run on?
macOS 13 Ventura or later, supporting both Apple silicon and Intel in the same universal build. It is a native Mac app with full keyboard control and VoiceOver labels.
