It indexes session files from 41 AI tools and CLIs into a single searchable local library, flags the moment any agent is waiting for your input or approval, and provides unified usage metering across 9 AI providers so you can see remaining quota before limits are reached. All session content stays on your machine by default. Automater PRO adds interactive features including chat from the tray, computer control, managed sessions, and cloud voice capabilities.

- Yes, Automater Lite costs nothing and requires no sign-up. The library, search, usage meters, Needs You flags, and local voice are all free. PRO is a separate yearly upgrade that adds additional features without removing anything Lite already includes.
- What does PRO add?
- PRO adds interactive features including chat and computer control from the tray, managed sessions and inline replies, Fleet and Integration Health, built-in tools and pop-out mini-apps, and metered cloud voice.
- Where does my data live?
- Session content stays on your machine. Lite reads each tool's own session files and keeps the normalized library locally. Anonymous usage statistics are on by default and can be switched off in Settings. Publishing to the leaderboard and PRO cloud voice are opt-in.

- Automater Lite runs on Windows x64, macOS on Apple silicon, and Linux x86_64 as an AppImage or a .deb. The macOS build is Apple silicon only and does not currently support Intel Macs.
