Build with our API or connect your AI assistant
Access Maker Launches through a REST API or link your AI assistant via MCP for searches, listings and management.
Updated
Get the tools you need
We've built two ways in: a REST API at /api/v1 for custom integrations, and an MCP server at /mcp so your AI assistant can work with your launches. Both let you search and read listings. With permission, your assistant can also draft and manage launches on your account.
Connect your assistant
If you're using Claude, ChatGPT or another MCP client, point it at /mcp. The assistant will open a sign-in page here on Maker Launches. Once connected, it can pull data and handle your listings without you switching tabs.
Use the REST API
Build your own integration against /api/v1. The OpenAPI 3.1 spec lives at /api/v1/openapi.json. Full documentation is at /developers.
Choose OAuth (the assistant or your app opens a sign-in page) or grab a personal API key from /account/developers. Keys are shown once only; we store just a hash. Keep yours safe.
Know the boundaries
Rate limits and daily quotas apply to all requests. Payments happen on this site—the API returns a checkout link when you need one. Voting is community-only and stays off the API.
Questions people ask
- Can my AI assistant manage my listings?
- Yes. With your permission, an MCP-connected assistant can draft and manage your own launches through /mcp. It can also search and read public listings.
- What's the difference between the API and MCP?
- The REST API at /api/v1 is for building custom integrations. The MCP server at /mcp is for connecting AI assistants directly so they can search, read and manage launches in conversation.
- Where do I find my API key?
- Go to /account/developers. Your key is shown once; keep it safe. After that, only a hash is stored on our side.
